Silex Land, in joint venture partnership with RDE Properties, was recently selected as the preferred developer to Swansea City Council to regenerate the Mariner Street Car Park site, opposite Swansea Train Station. The site is likely to include student accommodation, a hotel and retail / leisure. We anticipate submitting a planning application in late 2008.
Silex Land is developing a new 10,000 sq ft district retail centre anchored by Tesco Express. Construction is due to complete in May 2008. The site extends to 0.8 acres with frontage onto A473, within a short walk of the University of Glamorgan which is home to 21,000 students.

A retail warehouse development in Glastonbury within an out-of-town area including B&Q and Travelodge. Silex Land recently finished the development of the 6,100 sq ft Carpetright and is now progressing with its final plot.

Silex Land has converted two Norfolk Barns into three substantial luxury homes within the grounds of one of Norfolkâs premier farms. The Barns were acquired in a dilapidated state, developed using local materials, and completed in January 2008. All Barns have substantial landscaped gardens and are located around a central walled courtyard.
